The 6th Annual Lisa Ramsey Golf Tournament benefiting Disabled Crime Victims
Assistance, Inc. is scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Texas Star Golf
Course in Euless, Texas.
Lisa Ramsey is the Fort Worth Police officer who was shot and paralyzed while on
duty in 2003. This golf tournament was started by the Fort Worth Police
Officers Association to assist Lisa with day-to-day expenses until she was able
to return to her job. Now Lisa is back at work and, true to her spirit and
generous nature, she wants the tournament to provide guidance and assistance to
others who face often-insurmountable medical expenses and an uncertain future.
Lisa Ramsey has formed a 501 (C)(3) non-profit agency specifically to benefit
Disabled Crime Victims Assistance, Inc. (DCVA). DCVA specializes in assisting
crime victims with disabilities. Disabled crime victims are those who become
disabled as a result of the crime and those already disabled that become a
crime victim.
If you have any question or concerns or would like to discuss the tournament or
forms, please call Brenda Griffin at 817-332-4840 or e-mail
bgriffin@parkplazafw.com. We deeply appreciate your support and look
forward to seeing you at the tournament.
Please join us for a day of fun, food and golf!!
